I HAVE been blogging for about six years now and lately I’ve been thinking about why I blog. This self-examination is something most bloggers seem to go through. After some navel gazing, I’ve decided to make a change to the way I blog. As my children get older (now aged 8, 7 and 6) my original reasons for blogging have ceased to exist. I no longer need help getting my little ones off to sleep, or a quick cure for nappy rash. Now the reasons I blog are because I want help keeping my family happy, safe and strong, in the emotional sense. I also enjoy writing about things that aren’t connected to being a mother or a wife, but just me as a person.
I want to get back into blogging more often, largely because I enjoy the feedback, but also because I like the thinking-out-loud component to it. Helps me think!
So to signify this change, I’ve given my blog a small make-over. It’s not big. Most of the stuff I had before is still here. Just changed a few fonts here and there and uploaded a new theme. No biggie.
So, hopefully, I’ll see you around!
