I’ve been using charts for years as a behaviour modification tool. You know, you give your kids a sticker when they do something right and when they complete a row they get a reward. As I said, I’ve been using them for years. And not one single chart has ever really worked. Until now. There’s a couple of tricks to making the chart work and I know what they are.
We pay a lot of attention to child behavioural experts when making decisions about our children. Even if you think you don’t, think you eschew what the experts say, a lot of it filters through into the common cultrual psyche and what you may think is just old-fashioned common sense is often the product of last generation’s experts.
