No eggs? Hmm... that's unusual but not completely unheard of. And a shame. It's a great way to get protein into them!

Hey, no judgment here! I love putting little treats in their lunchbox. Life's too long to not have the occasional treat, and Freddo Frogs are a good size. :-)

Personally- I don't really prefer either of them in the sense of favorites. I have only watched the wiggles progams, have 2 dvds and took the kids to one concert - and thats BECAUSE the kids like and prior to that I was a childcare worker so am very familiar with them simple as that.
But if I were to get into the nitty gritty I think both wiggles were good in their time- and yes I say their time- I respect the way shows, music and concerts are done- however I do agree with the comment in the article regarding to age because realistically there is a point in time where older men or women need to step aside at let the younger adults step in. This is based on their own health, allowing for a company to grow and mature for years after the original people are no longer around. It also starts getting a little creepy at a certain point to have old men entertaining children no matter how you swing it. I think realistically for the growth and maturing of the company and ensuring 'The Wiggles' survival (just like any other company) original people like the original wiggles need to start slowly stepping aside and permantely hand over the rains to a younger person. Without that any company would not survive esspecially ones like the wiggles where the main charactors are needed- the moment they die the company will die with them. I think the Program is fantastic for children on an educational and fun scale but if they keep doing things like this their company will go down the drains either due to bad ratings based on the bad advertisement as of late or from their being stuck in the one past mindset with no room to excel and continue the company because they ONLY want to stick with the original wiggles.

Thanks for your lovely words, Kateinlondon. It's gratifying to know I'm not alone! And three kids under four must have been exhausting! I can relate as my own three were born all within 27 months of each (the first two - who are both currently six years old) were just 11 months apart. We threw ourselves into parenting in a big way, didn't we?! There's light at the end of the tunnel, though, with school age approaching fast. Hang in there!

Came to you via mamamia site - nice blog! You are a woman after my own heart. I used to worry about the fact that I spend a not small amount of time plotting how to get rid of my children. Not on a permanent basis - we haven't got there yet - but on a couple of hours/half a day/god bless a full day basis. Then I realised that I had three children under four and apart from being exhausted, what I really needed was some semblance of my pre-children, fun, hard working, much playing life back. I adore my children, and for the most part like you I think I do a pretty good job. But I quite like me too, and I want and need my own life apart from them.
