SPONSORED POST: If you love a sneaky snack, maybe something kept in your handbag or in the car’s centre console, then McVities Go Ahead biscuits are worth considering. I’ve tasted two versions and would definitely consider keeping them handy for those times when the munchies strike.
The thing I like about these biscuits is they are individually wrapped, so it makes them a convenient snack to grab when you’re dashing between soccer practice and ballet rehearsal.
I taste-tested two varieties: the Yoghurt Break and Crispy Fruit Slices. To be perfectly honest, I found the yoghurt topped one to be more delicious, but those who haven’t cultivated a sweet tooth might find it a bit sickly sweet. The biscuits without the yoghurt top – the Crispy Fruit Slices were nice, but a little dry.
The company likes to describe their biscuits thusly:
“These deliciously light sultana and fruit-filled biscuits, have a delicate crisp texture and come in a wide range of fruity flavours:
• Crispy Fruit Slices (50 calories per slice)
• Yoghurt Breaks (74 calories per slice)
• Chocolate Thins (73 calories per slice)”
If you see them in the supermarket, give them a go. At $3.99 for the box, they’re not expensive and they taste pretty good!
